Ashley Bottom’s: appetite for discussion has been cancelled. This wonderful trans-woman has been respected member of the  LGTBQ+ community for over 2 decades, and has used her platform on Wave radio Boston to help up and coming local Artists since 2013.  Monday, January 9th, abruptly after her would be last show; Ashley, was informed that “This is it,” while her banner was taken down.

Ashley has been patriotic advocate for local music, artists and bands from all genres since her time WBZ radio ,and during many other talk radio projects. All the while, She managed two LGTBQ+ Support Groups Gurls Nite Out from 2005-2007 and Sisters Family from 2007-2015 across 5 different states on the east coast. 100% while maintaining an active lifestyle in the music communities, and holding down a full time job.

It is Sad an unfortunate that, her show was cancelled, for reasons, she would rather not share. It has already been an embarrassing time  full of disappointment. So she chooses to leave the details of her termination, within management, to prevent any retaliation against her. All she would like to put forward, is that she approached the situation, fairly and professionally. She is completely undeserving of an complete removal from the station. If the events that transpired happened within her knowledge, She would have proactively, rectified the situation.

If you would like help Ashley, please sign this petition or personally reach out to the station and express your concerns. All of the local bands need her and her show. She is one of the few people that gives everyone a fair shot.
