Alexandria Main Street is in jeopardy of disappearing this is the result of a lack of properly allocated funding and poorly timed roadworks by our Council. These works are set to last to November, creating a lack of footfall in Alexandria. Businesses are closing and we need the support of the local community to help us survive this difficult time. With the cost of living crisis our reliance on the local main street is even more important than before.  Our town needs to be able to service our community. We are in real danger of losing these independent businesses, the heart of the Vale if we don't do something now.
