Later this fall, SamTrans is going to reduce service throughout San Mateo County. 

One major issue with the plan is the lack of input used to make the decision.

53% of the people surveyed are not ok with these drastic cuts in service. There will be almost no access to Canada college, College of San Mateo, Serra High School, San Mateo County Medical offices, Beresford Park and School, and the entire neighborhood as a whole.

I would be directly impacted by this because I have a disability that prevents me from driving, and there’s nothing to replace the loss in service.

if SamTrans goes through with this plan, thousands of riders will be directly impacted. There is no alternative options being offered to replace these services. If SamTrans was smart about it, they would delay these cuts for 1-2 more years to allow time for Covid impacts. 

if this goes through, I will lose all access to my freedom. They already made it nearly impossible to access the new Hillsdale Station.
