On a dreary rain threatened day people from all walks of life from all ages & across the whole LGA of Port Stephens turned up to protest the sale of 109 Foreshore Drive, Salamander Bay.

Many individuals, Families are outraged at the prospect of losing public use of this treasured local gem as an exclusively private domain. The sale of 109 is a loss not just for themselves but importantly for generations to come. We are pleading with the mayor to listen to the community & vote to save 109 & not sell of this known Koala corridor. 

Port Stephens Council have recently asked the community to get actively involved with place planning. Our values, priorities for place plan have identified the unique local character of 109 as a community asset & we DO NOT want it sold to the highest bidder!
