Worldwide protests for Prophet Mohammad (sall-Allahu ta'ala 'alaihi wa sallam) cartoons & film, but the destruction of Islam's birthplace goes unchallenged?
Saudi Arabian declaration:
It is written in the Sha’bân 1397 A.H. (1977) copy of the weekly periodical Ad-da’wa, which was prepared by a madrasa named Jâmi’at al-Islâmiyya in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, “In the coming enlargement of Masjid an-Nabî, only the west side should be widened and the great bid’a should be ended. The great bid’a is the inclusion of the three graves in the masjid. The eastern wall should be brought back to its former place, and the graves should be left outside the masjid.”
The Independent, of United Kingdom [dated 24th Sept. 2011], reported, “A pamphlet published in 2007 by the Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, endorsed by Abdulaziz Al Sheikh, the Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia, stated that “the green dome shall be demolished and the three graves flattened in the Prophet’s Masjid”.
Another news organization, 31st October 2012, says that:
The key Islamic heritage site, including Prophet Mohammed’s shrine, is to be bulldozed, as Saudi Arabia plans a $ 6 billion expansion of Medina’s holy Masjid an-Nabawi Mosque. However, Muslims remain silent on the possible destruction.
