ทำเอาคนไทยจำนวนมากไม่อาจจะทนได้เมื่อสื่อของเยอรมันได้ตัดคลิปในรายการโทรทัศน์ช่องSat1 ที่ล้อเลียนการกราบของไทยโดยตั้งชื่อคลิปว่า Als Robbe zur Segnung  (ตราประทับให้พร)  ซึ่งอ้างอิงจากข่าวเหตุการณ์ที่เกิดในประเทศไทยหลังจากนั้นพิธีกรชาย   Jochen Schropp และพิธีกรหญิงMarlene Lufen  ก็ทำล้อเลียนโดยคลานเป็นแมวน้ำก่อนจะหัวเราะกันอย่างสนุกสนาน

หลังจากที่คนไทยได้เห็นจึงแชร์พฤติกรรมของสื่อแห่งนี้  และเข้าไปคอมเมนต์ประณามการกระทำล้อเลียนที่ไม่ให้เกียรติประเทศอื่นเช่นนี้  พร้อมกับบอกว่า ขนบธรรมเนียมของแต่ละประเทศก็มีอัตลักษณ์ที่แตกต่างกันไปไม่ควรจะมาล้อเลียนเพื่อความขบขันแบบนี้  แต่แล้วสื่อแห่งนี้ก็ไม่ยอมลบคลิปออก  โดยมีคนไทยเข้าไปกดสัญลักษณ์โกรธจำนวนมาก

On May 3rd ,  your Facebook page status was showing about one of your shows, hosted by Jochen Schropp and Marlene Lufen, poking fun at Thailand’s Coronation of the King Rama 10th. The ceremony was held in Bangkok,  Thailand and celebrated by  Thai people and people all over the world. It was a very bad choice and unacceptable way of mocking other culture’s historical event. It is disrespectful to the Kingdom of Thailand that you aired and promoted that episode to your fan base and possibly the rest world.

On behalf of Thai people we would like to kindly ask your company to make a public apology in regarding to this matter.

The Coronation of the Thai monarch (Thai: พระราชพิธีบรมราชาภิเษกของพระมหากษัตริย์ไทย) is a ceremony in which the King of Thailand is formally consecrated by anointment and crowning. The ceremony is divided into two main events: the coronation rites and the celebration of the Assumption of the Residence. The coronation rites are a blend of Hindu and Buddhist traditions dating back several centuries. The rites included the purification bath of the king, the anointing of the king (based on the ancient ritual of Abhiseka), the crowning of the king, and the investiture of the royal regalia, the royal utensils, and the royal weapons of sovereignty. The Assumption of the Residence is a private housewarming celebration by members of the royal family at the Grand Palace.

Historically, the coronation usually took place as soon as possible after the death of the previous monarch. This followed the custom that an unconsecrated king cannot bear certain regalia nor carry out any religious functions. However, in the last century this tradition has been replaced by a mourning period of about a year after the succession. The most recent coronation was held on 4 May 2019 for King Vajiralongkorn.[1]
