As a business that has paid over vat in the last 14 years to Sars. I feel that Sars could give relief of one weeks Vat on average year of vat paid by companies to sars. The idea is that sars gives much needed relief to companies im distress now with covid 19. The objective is to sustain these vat contributing companies now, so that these companies are sustained till after covid 19 has passed. If these companies are sustained now things will go back to normal and Sars will again make vat of of all production and sales of these companies. The latter is simple, without support these companies will close down and Sars wont earn vat from these companies any longer as they seize to exist.
