SARS have:

a) Used incorrect parameters when selecting taxpayers for auto-tax-assessments and must exclude taxpayers with:

• Medical expenses in the previous year of assessment.
• Home office deductions
• Any other deductions

b) SARS must also exclude any provisional taxpayers from auto- assessments.

c) SARS must also exclude any taxpayers that have any income other than salaried income.

d) For the 2022 tax year, SARS must abandon their 40 day deadline for eFiling auto assessments after corrections, and revert to "normal" deadline dates.
