Save fruit trees at Saratoga Community Gardens

There is currently a decision in place by the Saratoga (CA) City Council to remove fruit trees from El Quito Park Saratoga Community Gardens in December of 2015. Saratoga has recently won the “Most Beautiful Canopy of Trees” award by "America in Bloom' and it’s a shame to see trees in Saratoga being planned to be cut down so shortly after receiving an award.
Trees help strengthen communities by encouraging local pride and help grow the economy as people are attracted to living and working in green surroundings. Together with the Saratoga gardening community, we want to help this pride and economy to continue to grow by saving the trees in any way that we can.
We can’t do this without you, and are asking for your signature to help us keep Saratoga green and protecting these beautiful and vital plants. Your help is sincerely appreciated!
