Consider mini pigs as pets to be kept in residential areas of Santa Rosa County, Florida.

The county wants me to rehome my pet mini pig because he does not fall under county codes.
When I bought my house in August of 2017, I called the county to find out the codes for my home and was told that I could have a mini pig because I am outside of city limits. Now I am being told that the county has its own codes that were never brought to my attention when I originally asked. The code for residential areas of Santa Rosa County states no equine, bovine, or swine. There are no subsections or exceptions in the code.
I would like to fight the county to have them add a subsection stating that mini pigs are pets and not livestock, and should be able to be kept as a pet at your home.
I have had my pig since he was 6 weeks old. He is attached to me and it would break both his, and my heart to rehome him. He is quiet, fenced in, and cleaned up after. There is no reason I should have to rehome my pet. Please sign and help me keep him, as well as change the way officials see mini pigs. Thank you.
