Sea Bus/Water transportation to Kitsilano/UBC

Vancouver has been trying to be a green city for a while now. Citizens are trying to use public transport or their bikes to reduce energy consumption, greenhouse gases, and other pollutants. But using public transport in Vancouver is extremely time-consuming. As a university that takes the bus to UBC from West-Vancouver every single day, I spend two to three hours of my day commuting. Every morning I have to wake up to see UBC/Kitsilano right in front of me on the other side of the water and think that I could be in school in 15 minutes but instead, I have to take a bus that is either full most of the times, late or doesn't show up for an hour to get to UBC. I am not a morning person but I have to take all my classes in the morning because the last express bus that goes to West-Vancouver is at 5 pm. I know that I am able to take other kinds of buses like the 14 or the 84, but that would take me up to two hours to get to West-Vancouver.
Having a Sea-Bus to Kitsilano or UBC will solve the problems of thousands of people that live in the North-shore. Everyone that lives in the north-shore knows that the Lions Gate bridge is extremely busy during peak hours and it sometimes can take up to an hour to cross it. I don't know if this is possible or will work. But trying will never hurt. I need people's signature so I can bring this issue to people that can help like Santa Ono, Michael Smith, Darrel Mussatto and Gregor Robertson.
