San Martin CA is not getting the attention it has needed for over 30 years on West Llagas creek. The location floods year after year with the poor drainage and the excessive runoff from Morgan hill to this little creek. This area has been a Bermuda Triangle of ownership between city of Morgan hill, county of Santa Clara and Santa Clara Valley water district. Residents have year after year had pointless counter productive meeting in which one organization blames the other or they kick it down the road saying there will be project PL566 will help.
Enough is enough, just because we are not a heavily populated area doesn't mean we shouldn't be taken seriously. Handful of homes impacted is one home too many. We need sediment removal, widening & deepening creek, deepen the catch basin next to butterfield. Mandatory ditches along all streets sense there are no sewers. The PL566 sped up to complete the project sooner than later. The list goes on for a multiple parallel approach to improve the water flow in the area.
