As Broncos, we make sure our fellow peers are healthy and succeeding. However, our current learning environment is more demanding in these challenging times than before. Many of us are experiencing a decline in mental health, a decline in happiness, and burnout. As an academic and social community, we are being pushed beyond our bounds, and the bonds of our community are weak. 

As Broncos, we are extending a hand for help in revising the Fall 2020 pass/no pass policy. UC Berkeley and Stanford have both revised their pass/no pass policy in response to the concerning decline of their students' health. We hope Santa Clara will follow the leadership and standard of care established by UC Berkeley and Stanford. 

This is not about academics and GPAs, this is about our personal well being, and the well being of our fellow peers.
