Announcing the newest anti-immigrant game for your viewing pleasure. Instructions: Shoot Mexicans crossing the United States border. the video game Border Patrol, in which you try to keep three types of Mexicans from crossing the border: drug dealers, Mexican nationalists, and “breeders,” who are of course pregnant women on their way to the welfare office. And the Star of David on the American flag add's a nice anti-Semitic touch by suggesting that the U.S. has been weakened and taken over by ineffectual liberalized Jews who are letting all the immigrants in. This is of course no surprise since anti-immigrant and anti-Semitic sentiments often seem to go hand in hand. This bad-taste game trivializes the traumatic and often fatal experience of crossing the U.S.-Mexico border and reduces the human casualties of our immigration system to cartoon style emoticons. Close to 500 people die every year while attempting to cross the border to seek a better life for themselves and their families, and countless others are raped, robbed, beaten, or kidnapped without anyone ever finding out. Crossing a nation's border, risking your dignity, your well-being, even your life, is no game. this game is offensive, irresponsible, racist, anti-Semitic, promotes violence against women and it's just plain stupid.
