Condemn Israel's violence against Palestinian protesters

Dear Rep. Levin, Rep. Lawrence, Senator Peters, and Senator Stabenow,
Condemn the Israeli Army's attack on Palestinian protesters, in which thousands of people were injured from tear gas and live fire.
The Great Return March was organized by Palestinian refugees as a nonviolent demonstration to "remind the world about the origin of the conflict — our uprooting from our lands and our lives, beginning in 1948 and sustained since then."
Why is this important to us?
Supposed democracies must allow freedom of speech and the right to peacefully protest. $3.8 billion of our tax money, in the form of US military aid, is given to Israel every year, thus our voices must be heard. We do not want our tax money being used to murder hundreds of unarmed protesters.
Please join the growing list of members of Congress who are speaking out about this important issue. At the very least, you must publicly condemn the Israeli Army's excessive use of force and disregard for human life. We also ask you to join with Representatives like Debbie Dingell, to advocate for an independent investigation into these killings. Thank you in advance for speaking out and being the progressive democratic leaders that we need in the age of Trump.
