For many years Squirel (Christopher John Renolds) sat on the corner of Bella Vista and the Hunt Higway holding a sign that just said "Just Smile".  Even though he was a homeless man he did not ask for money or food, he only asked for a smile.  

Squirel knew the power of a smile could change the world around us and strived to bring this unique power out in as many people as he could.  With a smile message on a smiple sign he touched so many lives.

Unfortunately,  last year we lost Squirel with his passing on December 8th 2020.  It became very evident how much people loved this. Man and how much a man with no home could make a difference as dozens of people hung signs, balloons and lite candles on the very corner where he sat.  There was even a Facebook page made for his memories, and a few local businesses even changed their marquee boards to reflect Squirrel's message.

I am proposing that, to not only honor this man but to push forward with his message to create a positive change in the community we live in, we rename East Bella Vista Road to Just Smile Road.  Let's inspire the positive change Squirel knew we could achieve.
