As of April 30th, the San Ramon Valley Unified School District announced that two high school Graduation ceremonies will take place on June 4th- ultimately dividing the Class of 2021 into two cohorts. 

As a district compiled of schools that emphasize both unity and equity, we, the students, feel as though it is unfair to have us divided on a day that is meant to celebrate the accomplishments of all students. It is understood that there are guidelines and expectations; however, we believe that it is of the utmost importance that students are able to finish their four years spent together, as one.  

After a rough year, this is the last opportunity for us to come together as a community for one of the most significant moments of our lives. Please take the time to sign our petition, so we can end the way we began- together.
