Multiple cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the San Mateo County, and many schools have closed down due to it. One of these schools yet to take action is Capuchino High School. Us students are in fear of catching the sickness which can easily be spread through something as simple as a handshake, high five, or merely sitting next to someone. Sharing food? Not happening. Borrowing supplies from different classmates? Not happening.

We demand that more throughout lookout is provided for us kids, as we have no other options or places to turn to. It is up to the staff at Capuchino to decide what happens, and right now their actions would be less than helpful when looked at by other nearby schools such as Serra, Notre Dame, and Menlo High Schools. All of them have around a week off while the school gets a deep clean of the entire campus, while we sit in a cesspool of fear and possible illness amongst us.
