Amid the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), we are pleading to close the entire San Lorenzo School District. 

Let’s please be proactive about this rather than reactive. 

Here a some reasons:

1. Kids can potentially bring home the virus that can harm the weak (old, immune system compromised, pregnant)

2. With limited test kits & hospital resources currently (NOT everyone gets tested immediately even with cough and fever), limiting potential spread is critical and in the best interest of everyone.

3. Chinese scientists have found that the virus can stay in the air for longer than 30 minutes and travel up to 15 ft. making it impossible for asymptomatic children to be that far from each other. 

Although, there aren’t any confirmed cases in the school district, we don’t want to risk our children, families, those over 60 and immune compromised.  

Keep our kids and community safe. Close schools now!
