California is battling dry conditions and oppressive heat with even less water than normal. It is imperative that we as a community not only engage in water saving practices ourselves, but compel businesses to save water as well. This petition is asking local business to cease the use of unnecessary aesthetic water features. It is not asking to shut down waterparks or drinkable water fountains. Under current conditions, the use of aesthetic water features is reprehensible, and it is ethically and morally imperative to turn them off in the name of conservation. If you believe that these water features are unnecessary and that their water can be put to better use, and if you understand the severity of California's drought and want to play an active roll in ensuring the survival of our natural resources, please show your support by signing our petition.
