Hello French Camp Community,

As members of this community, we all want to keep our town clean and beautiful.  We want to be proud of where we live and proud of each other.  We can only do this if we stand together as a community and take action to clean up our town, together.

My family has lived in French Camp for 79 years.  We have watched this town grow and flourish, made generation-long friendships, and aided the community as volunteers.  However, unfortunately, over the last several years, we have watched the visual appeal of our town decline steadily.  Currently, on our main road (French Camp Rd) between Dudley Road and Priest Road, at any time we can have anywhere from one to six (1-6) semi-trucks parked on both sides of the road.  Not only is this an eye sore, but it is also very dangerous as it blocks traffic visibility from neighboring driveways.  These semi-trucks, for those of you not aware, are refrigeration trucks that run all night long which are very noisy. 

All of these trucks belong to a single household but they are not being responsive.  My family has personally reached out to these individuals several times asking if they could move the trucks onto their very large, empty, fenced in property.  For some reason, this household refuses to be courteous to their fellow neighbors and community members so now we must take this a step further before French Camp Road becomes an official truck stop.

Multiple community members have already complained to San Joaquin County and the CHP but nothing is being done. 

Please take just a moment to sign this petition so we can show San Joaquin County that the community members of French Camp will not continue to stand by while they allow our once beautiful town to become nothing more than a dirty, cluttered, blip on a map.  Let's all stand together to show the county that we are serious about something needing to be done.  Let's clean up our community so we can be proud of our home again!
