As a native Californian, I grew up visiting San Francisco and it's so disheartening to see how the city is losing its sense of culture to development. Please save this institution.

The Palace of Fine Arts is a jewel of the city, a historic treasure for the U.S. as a site of the 1934 World's Fair and a gift to the world. We don't need predatory investors ransacking it for private profit. Preserve The Palace of Fine Arts

The Palace of Fine Arts belongs to the people of San Francisco, not the Parks Commission. Anyone attempting to "sell" the POFA should be terminated, and the residents of SF really need to do whatever it takes to deny the modifications. WE own the building, and WE will refuse to recognize any so-called authority the Parks Commission claims to have.

Born and raised in San Francisco, this is "Our Palace" and should never be changed. It's a beautiful, peaceful landmark enjoyed by people all over the world but mainly by the locals. If it ain't broke....let it be...we've lost so much of San Francisco already, we've got enough hotels, restaurants. It's a residential area that should not be disturbed commercially. Cultural/educational area should only consist of the history of San Francisco, it's local famous artists, the legends of San Francisco. Committes, staff, and director of whatever it becomes should only be run by those born and raised San Franciscans. Not too many of us left and we will do whatever it takes to maintain our beautiful City by the bay!!!! I❤️SF!
