Focus on the World Series and stop attacking California's future
San Francisco Giants' primary owner and chairman Charles B. Johnson is currently a #1 fan and funder of a destructive campaign that would hurt California's children and our future. As a top contributor to the No on Proposition 30 campaign, if Johnson is successful, he will force a $6 billion cut to schools and prompt steep tuition hikes for students and their families. Giants fans and their opponents can all agree that California's schools and students are our future! Tell Mr. Johnson to focus on the World Series and not on destroying California's public schools, colleges and universities.
I'm writing to respectfully ask you to stop contributing to a destructive campaign that's success would spell devastation for California's public schools and colleges. Please discontinue giving substantial financial support to the No on 30 campaign. Millions of Californians can not afford a $6 billion cut to schools that will prompt steep tuition hikes for students and their families. Focus on the World Series, not pulling the "triggers" on education.
