Stop Over Charging Students For Pizza

This year, the district has adopted the new Dominos Smart Slice. To the eye, this idea sounds quite good, less calories, less sodium, and less fat; however, this does not look to consider the fact that this 250 calorie, $3.75 pizza slice is supposed to be the entire lunch for most students. 250 calories is not enough to provide students with the energy they need for their rigorous high school and middle school classes, and if they want more they are excpected to pay $7.50 for a 500 calorie meal. The pizza that comes cut into 10 slices, and only costs the school about $8, but the school makes $37.50 for each pizza. There is no reason that a school should be making $30 for selling one pizza to students at a public school.
