(API)phany is a workshop series at SDSU designed to address and discuss the intersection of Asian Pacific Islander (API) identity and mental health. These workshops are put together to bring light to this intersection, with discussion on topics such as the Model Minority Myth, Imposter Syndrome, Anti-Blackness and Racial Triangulation, and Sociocultural Values.
(API)phany was created to provide a safe space for AAPI students on campus. While SDSU says it supports AAPI students of color, it fails to provide the accurate funds needed to maintain this space and has denied funding for resources for next semester, Spring 2018. This is an egregious error on behalf of the university, and we request that more funding be given for the benefit of all AAPI students on campus and the greater SDSU community. Please help us make a change by filling out this form!
