For too long those living in San Bernardino county have had our rights heavily restricted by politicians living in major cities. These legislators are severely out of touch with the realities of the people in our communities. This change restores our constitutional rights as intended by the founding fathers, and will allow our communities to defend themselves from those who wish to do us harm and the wildlife that roams our communities. Those same politicians have made this state a sanctuary city protecting criminal foreigners while simultaneously penalizing law abiding citizens. Enough is enough; priority should be placed on protecting law abiding citizens, not protecting illegal criminals. We have become backwards in this regard; and by making this county a second amendment sanctuary, we bring our communities closer to the vision of our forefathers. A country that is the land of the free and the home of the brave, with a government of the people, by the people, for the people. I implore you to sign this petition, to restore our constitutional rights, to restore our freedom, and to restore our communities. If we can make this state a sanctuary state for illegal criminals, then we can make this county a sanctuary county for our constitutional rights. The very same constitution that our politicians swore to preserve, protect, defend and uphold.
