De QLED 2018 wordt buitengesloten van een update naar eARC, terwijl de hardware dit wel ondersteund. Gezien de prijs van deze premium toestellen en het recht van de consument zou Samsung dit niet mogen doen. Na anderhalf jaar worden updates gestopt of zijn niet volledig genoeg om het maximale uit het toestel te kunnen halen.

Middels deze petitie willen we dan ook graag dat Samsung kijkt naar de mogelijkheden rondom een update voor alle toestellen met HDMI 2.0 ondersteuning.

The QLED 2018 is excluded from an update to eARC, while the hardware does support it. Given the price of these premium devices and the right of the consumer, Samsung should not do this. After a year and a half, updates are stopped or are not complete enough to get the most out of the device.

Through this petition, we would like Samsung to look at the possibilities for an update for all devices with HDMI 2.0 support.
