The FY’s of BSc Economics’21 were recently informed about the conduction of our semester finals offline. All the students have come to a mutual understanding that none of us is prepared and confident enough to appear for the same exams on campus. It’s been a difficult start of the year for everyone and a lot of time is consumed getting used to the higher level of education we’re being given. We believe that appearing for our exams offline will take a major toll on everyone’s mental health because of the extreme stress levels, as well as cause a ruckus with every out station student moving to Mumbai for the same too. Offline classes give us the required support and confidence to appear for exams offline too, but the online mode of education, no matter how efficient and fruitful in our college, takes longer than offline education to fit well with the students for them to perform to the best of their abilities.

We request the esteemed authorities of Sarla Anil Modi School of Economics, NMIMS to reconsider their decision and conduct the first semester finals online.
