College is a financial burden all on its own. People fork out thousands of dollars each semester to take classes, along with being charged for all facilities (even those they may not even use such as the dining hall, rec center, etc). But one of the most unnecessary and expensive expenses that require money to be forked out is the right to park at Sam Houston State University.

Many people like myself are not able to find a job that is flexible for fluctuating college hours that is available, so they often can not afford their basic needs themselves such as groceries. For the university to require people to either buy an epermit or pay by the hour through the ParkMobile app is insane. This financial burden affects students very negatively and needs to be rid of. Please sign this petition and help get this to the eyes of the university president!
