NBCE has reformatted the chiropractic licensure examinations to make their jobs easier and more efficient. However, in doing so they have not taken into account how these changes would effect the future of the chiropractic community. From both ethical and monetary standings, the officers in charge on NBCE have been abusing their power. The NBCE directors are refusing to provide statistical data of examinee test scores, they have established new criteria for what is considered a passing score on the national board exams, and they have done these things despite consultation or approval from chiropractic students or faculty of the chiropractic institutions.

NBCE needs to dismiss all four of the leading officers (President Salvatore LaRusso, D.C., Vice President Steven R. Conway D.C., J.D., Treasurer John Nab, D.C., and Secretary Daniel M. Cote, D.C.). These officers need to be replaced by individuals with strong ethics and a strong chiropractic philosophy who will also take into consideration the voice of their colleagues and future colleagues.
