Let's come together as a community and do what we can to keep our local Salvation Army Thrift Store open!!

In a time where people are encouraged to shop small, shopping with the Salvation Army is a chance to keep relief efforts going in our community.

For those that don't know much about our local Salvation Army, it helps our community in several ways. Throughout the nation, The Salvation Army opens its arms and hearts to serve those most desperate for physical, emotional, and spiritual assistance. Because human need differs from state to state, city to city, and even person to person, they seek to find solutions to each unique situation. By providing everything from feeding programs and emergency shelters to domestic abuse asylum and disaster relief services, they are able to do the most good wherever and whenever it's needed.

Nicole has been employed at the Salvation Army for 15 years and is an excellent manager.  Marna and Chris have been employed 12 years. These three women know the customers by name and are always smiling and super friendly when shopping there. It saddened me as well as others in our town to hear the unexpected closing of the store. The store helps people that don't have the financial means of buying new clothing and household items.

As I speak for myself and others, we don't want to lose this store. This is take a financial strike on the employees as well as our community.
