Our Community is facing a historic pandemic. This pandemic has brought stress and uncertainty to the students at Salt Lake Community College. Students have been transitioned to an online format of teaching for the rest of the semester. The quality of teaching has gone down drastically and has become very confusing. Especially for the students who did not elect to take online courses in the first place. 

There are many at home stressors along with state wide changes being made daily due to Covid-19. This had made finishing this semester and maintaining a good grade extremely difficult. Teachers can not relay their information properly nor can we efficiently keep up with the new changes expected of us. 

There are many personal issues that must be addressed as top priority over these next few months in order to stay mentally and psychically healthy. Therefore, I am asking Salt Lake Community College to consider our current situation and allow for a Pass or Fail system to allow students to finish out this semester on a good foot. Allowing us to recoup and go into this next semester ready to learn and in a better state of health and mind.
