Salman Khurshid, Minister of External Affairs for India: Initiate a dialogue on the issue of Tibet in the upcoming visit to China.

This is essential in order to make China talk about the grim situation in Tibet and the exceedingly high human rights violations committed against the Tibetan people along with the current issue of violations of the Line of Actual Control with India. Due to severe media censorship the extent of the atrocities in the Tibet Autonomous Region remain unreported. Despite the repeated requests of the Tibetan Government in exile, the Chinese have not allowed any of the TIbetan leaders, including the Sikyong Dr. Lobsang Sangay (the current PM of the Tibetan Parliament in exile), to visit Tibet.

This petition will be sent to the Hon. Minister of External Affairs for India, Mr. Salman Khurshid who prepares for his upcoming visit to China on the 9th of May, urging him to talk to the Chinese counterparts about the Tibetan situation, the hopes of thousands of Tibetan refugees rest on the Indian Government's action.
