We want an A-day B-day schedule in the 2022-23 school year at SaJHs. We need more class periods in order to get enough credits to graduate high school. Having an A-day B-day schedule gives more variety, rather than the same thing every single day, like in a 7-period schedule. It also gives us more opportunities to meet new people in classes. Having 5 periods instead of 7 makes class periods longer and gives more time to finish work, or go through lessons. It also gives students more time to get homework finished because classes are only every other day.  It also gives teachers more planning time and more time to work with students one on one because they have fewer students each day. There are also fewer transitional periods each day making hallways less chaotic and loud. Studies show that A/B schedules improve graduation rates because students settle into their classes better and manage time better. In conclusion, having an A/B block would have lots of benifits for our school and students succsess.
