We have received an intimation for payment of fees for the next academic year 2020 -21. In view of the present situation created by the onset of COVID-19, we would like to bring your kind attention to the following:

1. We have not attended any regular class for the last 3 months due to the lockdown and were compensated with online classes which was not effective as regular classroom classes (be it an internet connection problem or lack of clear explanations). The payment for the previous year was for a full academic year of studies in the classroom. This has not been met. So we request you to arrange refund of fees for 3 months and adjust it in the fees for the next academic year.
2. Hostelers have paid the rent for the whole year( 10 Months) but has not been utilising the facility for the last 3 months. So please arrange to deduct the hostel fees for 3 months and adjust it in the fees for next year.
3. We also expect that the hostellers are not charged any mess fees(Electricity, Water and Food) for the months that they were not present.
4. As you are fully aware, there are various kinds of students in the college from well-to-do families and some who can't manage the payment due to the current COVID Pandemic, furthermore the UGC has insisted on colleges to consider the current situation and provide alternate options for payments. Therefore we ask for more time to complete the payments or any other relaxed payment methods that are comfortable for the students.

We all know that recent months have been difficult on all of us. We hope that in the current economic conditions, the above requests are viewed in a positive light and taken into consideration.

We hope you will take these issues with the management and deliver the message on our behalf. Hoping to receive a favourable response from your side.
