Friday afternoon, a circuit court judge in downstate Sangamon County issued a Temporary Restraining Order in a lawsuit against Governor Pritzker regarding the executive orders which mandate masking, excluding close contacts from schools, and mandatory COVID testing for school personnel who are not vaccinated. 

Throughout this COVID-19 pandemic the rhetoric from St. Paul administration has been to follow the guidelines of the ISBE, as has been stated in previous communications. Yet, as of today, St. Paul's "respectful ask" to deny the freedoms granted from the ruling run completely counter to the very sound and dogged practices. 

We the parents are respectfully requesting Saint Paul to administer due process and allow the families of those attending to decide whether or not to mask. By no means should there be any condemnation or judgement passed on either side from any of the student body of faculty.
