Planning permission was given to erect two big houses on this site which was Gifted to the people of carrickbeg and surrounding area in 1950 it's in trust to 3 priest that a school would be built there for the people however as time passed even when gaelscoil where looking for property this was not forthcoming from the parish council I objected to the said planning application on the above grounds and to no avail it was a letter submitted by st.mollerans Parish Council giving permission to the priest to erect the two houses one for the priest on his retirement and the other one to sell that won it I am looking to overturn this decision and with your help we might succeed there is a lot of other uses for this ground ie for Meals on Wheels and possibly others it's the people of carrickbeg and surrounding area who should decide this not a eucharistic minister or people within the church this is not fair play I have been in contact with the bishop's office on six occasions with no response from the bishop if you're looking for more information you can PM me on Facebook and I will answer any questions the said above land was never meant to be for personal gain it was meant for the many not the few please support
