Nightly Train noise in West Saint John

Trains travelling throughout residential areas of the city of Saint John blowing their horns are causing Saint Johner's to be awoken at all time of the night.

These trains travel parallel to Chesley Drive and Douglas Ave on route to pass over the train bridge on the west side (reversing falls) and then on to their destination.

There are many homes that line both sides of the tracks. Even lower west side residents are very much affected. My family lives across the reversing falls on Riverview dr and we have had many hours of sleep loss due to the nightly event of multiple trains making their way through Saint John

Saint John City Counsel has heard this issue before from the residents of the east side of Saint John. Those fortunate residents were granted the peace that the train horns would not blow at night. Allowing them to get a restful night's sleep.

All Saint Johner`s deserved the right to a peaceful nights sleep.  Please sign this petition.
