John McDonald was a slave owner and the school board has recognize that we need to remove the name.  I'm sorry that the John Mack Alumni  Association will   feel some kind of way.Let's look at someone who has made a great contribution to Education  in the City of New Orleans.Dr. Elliot Willard's has been an educator for over 40  plus years as well as his wife in the community.
