I’m a fan of Sainsbury’s red label, but not if is not fair to tea farmers!

This new policy direction goes against the original and overarching raisin d’etre of Free Trade. It’s yet another cynical swipe at a generous and fair initiative for financial gain and self promotion by a supermarket chain wjomi had blithely hitherto supported.

I am signing because I believe that fair trade is the only way all of these commodities should be sold in order to give the people who do the work a share in the profit.

I'm signing because the Sainsbury's idea removes the basic reason why Fairtrade was set up in the first place.

Wow just shocking, no doubt just designed to make more profits for Sainsbury's, whilst appearing to support genuine fair trade!

Fair trade is so incredibly important. It's something I've been passionate about since I was 10, and was taken to a local conference. You know as well as I do Fairly traded is not the same... Do the right thing.
