The current dress code that is implemented in our school is not only sexualizing young women, but also persuading rape culture. Dress code teaches young woman that the way to fix existing sexualization of their bodies is to cover them. We should be teaching men to respect young women instead of teaching them to cover up and fear men. young women are seen as "distraction" and "temptations" to men and instead of men respecting women they are teaching woman to be cautious of what they wear around men. Saginaw high school persuades rape culture and is sexist towards the dress code. We should be teaching male students and teachers to not sexual normal women bodies. We demand an improved dress code that is not sexist towards young woman.
