STOP the Bailey Boswell Bridge Project

In a May 2013 Bond Election, Saginaw voters approved bond appropriations for road and street improvements along E Bailey Boswell Road. Misleading ballot language resulted in voters approving a project involving the construction of a 2-LANE OVERPASS across N Saginaw Boulevard and the railroad tracks. In fact, this project wasn’t even referenced in the ballot question.
The City will begin soliciting bids for construction of the overpass in November of 2017. This project, which is already over budget, will only cause more traffic in Saginaw, result in loss of business for local business around the site, and will contribute nothing to the tax base.
