This petition is intended to gather evidence of those who support all of JMSA (students and staff) to receive a form of Covid-19 testing before resuming in-person learning. For example, a requirement to receive at home-testing. Please note: one may favor virtual learning; however, this petition does not regard to that topic-this petition regards the safety everyone feels as Covid cases increase.

It is a fact, those who received vaccines and boosters may catch Covid-19 again. Some may not experience the symptoms of Covid-19, but are unconsciously hosting the virus. During winter break, many have traveled out of state or out of the country, meaning there is a huge chance staff and students will catch Covid-19. We are a STEM based school, so it is hypocritical if we do not follow biology or the science-the data, presented to us. The majority of New Jersey is in the red zone due to the significant amount of cases. Hudson county testing sites are backed up so there are no final numbers to state, but currently there has been 127k covid cases.
