Cala d´Or is a world famous tourist resort. Developing well since the start of tourism on Mallorca our little village Cala d´Or was always well known for its quality visitors, neighbours, businesses and lifestyle.

<<<<<A series of burglary is affecting both local residents and tourists. Police hasn´t enough manpower to show presence and prevent such problems.

<<<<<The recent tendency of license free boat rental and license free jet ski rental which hides behind the claim of offering guided jet ski excursions puts ourselves and our guests into great risk. It is not a matter of "if" but of "when" the first swimmer or diver will be hurt by them.  Safety rules exist but nobody controls them. The local boat companies do their part to explain rules but most obviously cannot control their guests on the sea.

<<<<<The local health center which attents both locals and tourists hasn´t enough manpower to offer an appropiate service.

We recently notice a tendency which leads us far away from the fame we received with the years of hard work:

1) insufficient presence of Policia Local & Guardia Civil on the streets of our town

2) no patrol of the Guardia Civil del Mar in our area

3) inadequate quality of our comunity health center

We hereby ask for support of YOU:  our neighbours, residents, locals, guests, friends and family to sign this petition.  We want to show that we noticed a problem and ask for support by the townhall, the government and all responsible authorities this concerns.

Cala d´Or es un centro turístico de fama mundial. Con un buen desarrollo desde el comienzo del turismo en Mallorca, nuestro pequeño pueblo Cala d´Or siempre fue conocido por la calidad de sus visitantes, vecinos, negocios y estilo de vida.

<<<<<Una serie de robos está afectando tanto a los residentes locales como a los turistas. La policía no tiene suficiente personal para mostrar presencia y prevenir tales problemas.

<<<<<La tendencia reciente de alquiler de barcos sin licencia y alquiler de motos acuáticas sin licencia que se esconde detrás de la afirmación de ofrecer excursiones guiadas en moto acuática nos pone a nosotros y a nuestros huéspedes en un gran riesgo. No se trata de "si" sino de "cuándo" el primer nadador o buceador será atropellado. Las normas de seguridad existen pero nadie las controla. Las compañías de alquiler de barcos hacen su parte para explicar las reglas, pero obviamente no pueden controlar a sus clientes en el mar.

<<<<<El centro de salud local que atiende tanto a locales como a turistas no cuenta con el personal suficiente para brindar un servicio adecuado.

Recientemente notamos una tendencia que está muy lejos de la fama que recibimos con los años de duro trabajo:

1) Insuficiente presencia de Policía Local y Guardia Civil en las calles de nuestro municipio

2) ninguna patrulla de la Guardia Civil del Mar en nuestra zona

3) calidad inadecuada de nuestro centro de salud comunitario

Por la presente, solicitamos su apoyo: nuestros vecinos, residentes, invitados, huespedes, amigos y familiares para firmar esta petición. Queremos demostrar que notamos un problema y pedir el apoyo del ayuntamiento, el gobierno y todos los instituciones responsables.
