ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

It's time the residents of Chelsea have a safe neighborhood to live in again. The stretch of 8th Ave, specifically between 20th & 22nd has become insufferable. Hoards of trash, rampant open drug use, loitering and violence, primarily under the never-ending scaffolding have created a dangerous environment for not only residents but children of surrounding schools, and our elected officials seem to just turn a blind eye. 

Proposal to close or limit operations for Rainbow Station & The Blue Store:

1. Shut down both stores completely
2. Limit their operating hours to 9 am - 5 pm

Not sure how, but it seems these businesses are exempt from violations and continue to operate without hinderance. They were even open and operating at full capacity during the lock-down. 

This problem has been on-going for years without a solution or barely any help. The police are limited and our council-members have nothing but excuses after excuses. 

Sign this petition, bring it to city hall or whoever but enough is enough!
