Withe regard to the latest display for the new year, though I applaud the use of laser in terms of cost, noise and pollution reduction I still have growing concerns that there are not enough regulations in place to stop some of the private fireworks that seem to be activated by citizens in London. Some local people had managed to obtain something that resembled a bomb. Surely it cannot be legal to activate such things.

With the ongoing  efforts on pollution  in London, with regard to ULEZ and congestion charges then  then immediate action is needed to replace fireworks with laser.

This petition calls for the mayor of London and UK government to restrict the sales and Importation of these unsafe devices that are bought by many and just activated in the hope they are safe.These actions see the rise in pollution in the capital as well as established wildlife and pets suffering. Let's clean up our act further by banning the sale and importation of these unsafe devices.

Better for the environment and the people.
