There is a compelling need to provide further infrastructure to enable crossing of the river. Almost impossible to believe that, instead, a giant leap backwards has been taken.

It is vital to have this ferry operating as it is the only way for pedestrians to get to Canary Wharf.

I'm signing because we need a reliable way to get to the canary wharf area without having to drive for 20-30 minutes, when a costly 5 minutes ride across the river would do.
They promised a pedestrian cyclist bridge some time back. It never materialised. The ferry is still the greenest way to get across.

I use this service to get to work and my daughter uses it to get to school. It is an essential service.

I'm signing because the ferry from Rotherhithe to Canacry Wharf is both the quickest, and now also the safest, method for my family and I to travel to Canary Wharf and back. The tube from Canada Water was over-stretched before the pandemic, so this ferry is even more crucial now.

Former 10 year resident of Rotherhithe here, and I can certainly attest that the underground and overground commute services are vastly overcrowded!
This was a very easy mode of transport just a few steps down the road, very easy to get to Canary Wharf from Rotherhithe this way. I’m signing this in hopes that this suspension will be overturned, and the ferry will resume service permanently.

I’m signing because I suffer from the lack of the ferry to go to Canary Warf. I am a cyclist and closing this option makes it very harder for me to commute.

I live around the area and this service is of great support for the community who has limited access to north London
