Juan Mejia started this petition to Sadiq Khan (Mayor of London) and

Throughout the past year, several tube line extensions have been announced. Greenwich is the area of London with the worst tube coverage and for most of us residents that means having to get a bus to get to the tubes. Rather than extending lines in places that already have lots of coverage, we ask that the Major of London and the London Assembly give people in Greenwich better transport links.

Throughout the last decade, population in the area has multiplied, and with new developments approved across the whole bureau, the North Greenwich station won’t be enough. Furthermore, with only one road between Greenwich town centre and Greenwich peninsula, the traffic has become a bottle neck causing buses to be stuck and sometimes we have to wait 30-45 minutes for a bus to get to the station.

As a big development hub for residential property in London, the needs of people in Greenwich are not currently met and will become worse with the more than 4,000 properties coming in the next few years.
