And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory, Revelation 18:1

I think this change in tack by TFL & Mayor is eminently sensible. Yes, you could say that it should not be left to voluntary bodies to sort the issue but the bottom line is that referring to "streetlink" is the most practicable way that we the public, short of welcoming rough sleepers into our homes, can offer help to rough sleepers.

It’s pretty revolting. Better to have collection boxes and do something positive please!

Poverty is not a crime and desperate vulnerable people should not be vilified and humiliated. If you don't want to give, just don't. These announcements genuinely upset me every day. Shame on tfl

Sadiq Khan is a waste of space, and hopefully he and the people who put up these signs will one day be on the other end of them!

Being kind, offering support and yes sometimes a little financial aid can do so much for those who are homeless. We need more awareness! More encouragement for change, more support!

Poverty is not a choice you are often born into it and unless you’re lucky live your whole life just scraping by.
