Call For Saddle Lake Cree Nation Re-Election
0 have signed. Let’s get to 100!
Call for a Re-election for any of the 1 (one) or more reasons stated, as the Saddle Lake Cree Nation (SLCN) 2016 Election was:
- procedurally unfair;
- discriminatory and unconstitutional (Court Para 67);
- The appointment of the Election Committee was invalid (Court Para. 45);
- The decision of the committee to remove the four (4) nominees from the Nomination list is quashed by the Supreme Court of Canada (Court Para. 72)
I call for an election process which must be procedurally fair; and adhere to the Constitution, Charter of Rights, and past Supreme Court of Canada decisions affecting election processes.
I, the undersigned, sign with a conscience – am a registered band member of the Saddle Lake Cree Nation with a Treaty Status Number indicating my INAC SLCN Band Registration starting in #4620 and over the age of eighteen (18) years.
I want to see good governance for the people - so I choose to sign - even though I consider the Indian Act Chief and Council Election Process to be in violation of our original nêhiyaw laws.
